The Access Bike Project hasn't added a story.
Cycling over 600 miles from Lands End to John O Groats, on a pedal power generating static bike inside our workshop, powering a film of the journey. The young people who use the workshop will be looking for sponsorship for their stretch, and working together to raise £9,000 to keep the project going...
You can sponsor a young person on here or in the workshop every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 12-6pm until Christmas.
Fab facts about Access Bike in 2017/18

Perks
Tires are one of the only bits of a bike that can't be recycled, luckily we came up with an awesome solution! These bike belts come in loads of styles and size, from sleek and sophisticated to bulky and boisterous - made by the volunteers every one that finds a home will put money in the pockets of not just Access Bike but the volunteers themselves!
Our team and vounteers do such a great job restoring bikes at minimal cost. But often we have to replace cables, brake pads, tyres, grips and often more bits. The Project is always paying out to get these parts in stock. Here you can help us pay for the cost of a bike to be fixed up and get it back on the road!

We will do a T-Shirt painting session in the new year. Donate here and you could bag yourself a personalised, one off T-shirt painted in your size and colour choice. Designed and painted by one of our crew using fabric paints. This picture may or may not be the inspiration..
Made from recycled bicycle wheel rims, spokes, hubs and assorted other beautiful bike parts, the chandeliers are a fantastic example of how creativity can turn waste into art! Developed as part of Access Bike's push to recycle, it was one of our volunteers and friends, 16 year old Ralph Armond, that really grabbed the idea and ran with it. They come in 4 shapes, with your choice of bulb and cable - made to order, the perfect Christmas present for any bike mad friends or family!
